Plug-n-play, works like a charm
I bought this because I didn't want to fiddle around with uncompatible third party wifi adapters. It plugs-n-plays and configures easily. I was up and running with my Tivo in 5 minutes. I also want to complement Amazon. The first shipment was stolen from my front porch, Amazon sent another one no questions asked. $40+free priority shipping+no tax is a Win in my books!

Works, but could be better
I have it hooked up to my Tivo in the living room and I get between 50-58% signal strength. Not great considering my laptop in the same room gets about 80-90% signal strength. Tivo's suggestion of getting the adapter closer to my wireless router is a joke. The reason I have this is so they can be apart. If they were closer, I would just use a network cable.

Very effectively gets the job done
This product works great. It is very easy to set up and once connected, is very effective. I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I'd recommend this over any other brand that merely "works" with TiVo. Since this was designed for TiVo, it's seemless. Not only that, you don't have to downgrade the security of your wireless network to get it to work. It seems that sometimes my signal quality randomly oscillates between "Marginal" and "Good," but I attribute that more to the location of my router, not this device. For $40, it may be slightly overpriced, but not absurdly so.

Sure beats the phone line...
I have had my Tivo for about four years now. Every two weeks I have had to plug a phone line into the box for updates. I could not just leave it connected because I had to run it from another room in the house. Needless to say this got old. I started looking at compatible adapters and none of the retail stores had any in stock every time I checked. I found Amazon had this one at a reasonable price compared to the alternatives. I simply plugged it in, selected my SSID, input my WEP key, and connected. Nice!
